Wolves boss Gary O'Neil was not happy with the officiating on the final day of the season.
The Midlands club secured their stay in the league for another season, finishing in 14th place.
Despite a tough end to the campaign, O'Neil chose to focus his ire on the referees after a 2-0 loss to Liverpool on the final day of the season.
He stated to BBC's Match of the Day: "I'm not very confident that it will be got rid of [VAR]. That's not the technology's fault.
That's the guys using it. There's no danger to Alexis Mac Allister. He's fine. There's just no need for that to be a red.
I'm disappointed for the lads but we showed unbelievable character and togetherness and we gave it a go."
