Barcelona coach Xavi insists he's not received any indication that things have changed since reversing his resignation decision.

It's been claimed Barca president Joan Laporta now wants Xavi removed after their season collapse since the U-turn.

But ahead of today's clash with Rayo Vallecano, Xavi said: "We'll sit down now. I understand why you're asking. If we have to talk, we'll talk. Everything is like three weeks ago when I conveyed my desire and enthusiasm. There is a project, an extraordinary base in the squad. We have competed. Nothing changes. I understand the concern, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game.

"We haven't talked about anything. They give me tranquility, confidence, project, enthusiasm... the desire to play tomorrow and certify second place. These are stories that no one has told me.

"I have zero doubts that things can go well with me as coach, I have an extraordinary base in the squad, especially with people from home. Next year we can compete in a better way. I still have desire, enthusiasm, ambition... and with this news more.

"The president has not conveyed anything to me. He has conveyed peace of mind to me and thinking about Rayo.

"I'm very good, happy, happy... I'm working hard as always. The criticism, in any case, makes me improve. I'm eager to show. This year we haven't had enough to win titles for details."
