Jett Williams was born in Dallas, Texas, on November 3, 2003. He played high school baseball at Rockwall-Heath High School in Heath, TX. He was the top-ranked shortstop in Texas and the top overall player in the state in 2022. Williams in his junior year hit .347 with five home runs and 38 RBI, in his senior season he hit .411 with seven home runs and 41 RBI. Williams was the fifth-ranked shortstop and the 20 ^th overall player in the country. He committed to play college baseball at Mississippi State University.
